About Letia James
Some stories take a lifetime to tell.
I’ve been writing since my early teens, worlds built in notebooks, characters who lived rent-free in my head for years. But life had other plans. I became a mom young, and for a long time, writing stayed in the background where dreams go when survival takes priority.
It never left though. It just waited.
Now I’m doing the thing I always knew I was meant to do: writing dark, immersive stories about women who are stronger than they know, in worlds where the stakes are real, and the romance hits hard. My books feature Black leads and diverse characters because those are the stories I always wanted to find and couldn’t.
I write dark fantasy and paranormal romance under my author name, Letia James, published through my imprint, Embermark. My debut series, Blood Crown, is available on Amazon, and my paranormal romance Torn in Two is currently being serialized on Wattpad.
